What happens during injection lipolysis and how does it work?
Deoxycholic acid is injected two to three times at three-week intervals. With just two small punctures per area, the fat cells melt permanently and are broken down naturally.
One area covers an area of approx. 10 x 10 cm. The injections are painless. The main active ingredient is a salt of a secondary bile acid, deoxycholic acid, which occurs naturally in the human organism. Fat-dissolving bile acid is originally intended for the natural digestion of dietary fats and is therefore very efficient. The treatment is carried out with local superficial Anesthesia.
Frequently asked questions about the fat removal syringe
As the fat tissue cells are dissolved (lipolysis), lasting success can be expected, similar to liposuction.
Surgery involves more risks and always has a downtime of 3-5 working days. With the deoxycholic acid used, there is no risk of embolism, no risk of anesthesia and certainly no risk of post-operative bleeding.
If exercise and diet do not help, the fat-away injection is used. It can help to reduce stubborn fat deposits, but it cannot replace a healthy lifestyle with plenty of exercise and a healthy diet. Small to medium-sized fat deposits that are particularly stubborn can be treated with the fat-away injection. Injection lipolysis is not a solution for obesity.
