Acne Treatment & Laser Therapy for Acne Scars
Acne (Acne vulgaris) is one of the most common chronic skin conditions, typically developing during puberty but increasingly affecting adults as well. It occurs due to overactive sebaceous glands, excessive sebum production, accumulation of dead skin cells, and the proliferation of bacteria—especially Cutibacterium acnes—within clogged pores. These factors lead to the formation of comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), papules, pustules, and deeper cystic lesions.
Acne can be triggered or worsened by hormonal fluctuations, genetics, stress, poor diet, certain medications, and improper skincare. If left untreated, acne can lead to physical discomfort, emotional distress, and permanent skin scarring.

What Are Post-Acne Scars?
Post-acne scarring is a natural result of the skin’s healing process following severe or inflamed acne lesions. These scars may present as:
- Atrophic scars – indentations in the skin (ice pick, boxcar, or rolling types)
- Hypertrophic scars – raised, thickened scars often appearing on the chest or back
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation – dark spots or discoloration after inflammation
Advanced laser technologies for acne treatment.

Do you suffer from acne and are looking for ways to eliminate it?
Are you tired of persistent breakouts or painful, deep, pus-filled pimples on your face, chest, or back?
Many people struggle to find effective solutions to get rid of acne. Treatments with antibiotics, hormones, or synthetic retinoids often take a long time and provide only temporary improvement—once the treatment is stopped, acne tends to return quickly. In addition, medication-based acne treatment may lead to increased bacterial resistance to antibiotics and can cause various side effects.
The primary cause of acne is overactive sebaceous glands and excess sebum production. During puberty, the body produces an increased amount of sex hormones. Internal stress, anxiety, and emotional experiences can further stimulate hormone activity, which in turn triggers acne flare-ups. Excess sebum, combined with dead skin cells, clogs pores and forms whiteheads or blackheads, leading to adolescent acne. These blockages create favorable conditions for bacterial growth, causing inflammation and infection.
Acne breakouts most commonly appear in the central facial area, on the chest, shoulders, and back—regions with a high concentration of sebaceous glands.
Poor diet (high in fatty, fried foods, sugars, and refined carbohydrates), chronic stress, fatigue, cold exposure, endocrine disorders, improper skincare, pore-clogging cosmetics, or certain medications can all trigger or worsen acne. Since there are many possible causes, it’s important to consult a specialist and start treatment early.
Acne scarring is a natural part of the skin's healing process. With modern laser technology, these scars can be treated, smoothed, and reduced.
For acne scar treatment, the number of sessions required depends on the extent and severity of the skin damage. Typically, 3 to 6 procedures are recommended. The number of sessions needed for other types of scars also varies, depending on their depth and pigmentation. The exact treatment plan will be determined during your consultation with a specialist.
