Laser hair removal on the eyebrows with the alexandrite laser
Beautiful, shapely eyebrows can help accentuate facial features and boost people's confidence by making them feel better and more attractive. Think about it: most people look at your eyes when they're talking to you or looking at you, and the eyebrows frame that look. Plucking and waxing eyebrows has been practiced for many years, and in recent years thread depilation has become a trend alongside good old tweezers.
Laser hair removal on the eyebrows is regularly requested by men and women in our Frankfurt center. Stunningly shaped eyebrows that frame and accentuate your eyes without the constant tweaking and tweezing would be heaven!
Unfortunately, when it comes to your eyebrows, the news is mixed.
Eyebrow Laser
Lasers can be used on most places where hair grows on the skin, but the eyebrows are a little different. The fact that they are so close to the eye and today's laser technology is extremely powerful makes it unsafe to laser eyebrows.
That's not to say that some eyebrow treatments can't be done, but there are a rule or two and guidelines that must be followed in order for the treatment to be safe.
Laser between the eyebrows - "monobrow" (glabella)
The good news is that if you have hair between your eyebrows, you can get laser treatment. If you have a unibrow or excess hair between the eyebrows (the correct medical term for this area is glabella), laser hair removal can be performed on the glabella.

Eye protection for eyebrow lasers
On the one hand, eye protection must be worn during the treatment, since the laser light is extremely strong and can cause damage to the eye if the necessary precautions are not taken.
Safety goggles should provide wavelength specific protection appropriate for the type of laser being used. Different wavelengths are used in light and dark skin tones, so proper safety glasses should be worn.
Before the treatment, you will receive expert individual advice from our laser experts. At the treatment appointment, the area to be treated is determined and, depending on its size, also marked with a white kajal. In the next step, laser safety goggles are put on and the treatment with the hair removal laser can begin. With the GentleLas Pro systems from Candela Medical, you benefit from the patented cooling spray technology (cooling device). Thus, no contact gel or similar is required.
In about 8-10 treatments it is possible to permanently remove all hair.
Permanent hair removal is a very quick treatment with the Alexandrite laser or the Nd:YAG laser. The treatment in the area of the upper lip takes a few minutes, in the armpit area about 5 minutes, on the legs and back about 20-30 minutes.
