Course of treatment of laser hair removal at the hairline
Laser hair removal in general requires at least 6-12 treatments in most areas. However, a few more treatments are required for the hairline. This is because the hair is much denser there than in other places. Treatments are typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart until the hair growth cycle subsides. Thereafter, refresher treatments are carried out twice a year or until the client is satisfied. It is also important to avoid sun exposure before and after treatment.
In about 8-10 treatments it is possible to permanently remove all hair.
Permanent hair removal is a very quick treatment with the Alexandrite laser or the Nd:YAG laser. The treatment in the area of the upper lip takes a few minutes, in the armpit area about 5 minutes, on the legs and back about 20-30 minutes.
