Wart Removal with the CO₂ FIRE-XEL® Laser
Warts are benign skin changes often caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear on different parts of the body and are often considered bothersome.
Modern laser technology allows warts to be removed precisely. The CO₂ FIRE-XEL® laser targets the affected tissue while preserving the surrounding skin.
At Era Esthetic Avenue Frankfurt, every treatment begins with a medical examination to determine the most suitable treatment method.

Warts removal with CO2Re laser
Laser removal is one of a variety of wart treatment methods. Most frequently, it is opted for because of time considerations as it does not require long treatment with local medications, or in those cases when warts are resistant to other treatment methods. Warts can be removed with laser from any parts of the body, including removal of pointed condylomas that appear on genital organs.
How is the procedure carried out?
In view of the localization and number of warts, most often the procedure is performed under local anaesthesia with a local anaesthetic being injected under the skin and, therefore, it is absolutely painless. When removing warts, the laser energy is focused directly on the tissue that forms the wart, annihilates and removes it. The procedure itself lasts 10 to 30 minutes depending on the number, size, and localization of warts.
In order to avoid the risk of introduction of infection, the treated area must be kept dry and clean after the procedure. The doctor will consult on the skin care at home.
Laser removal
This procedure is performed very quickly and, therefore, allows removal of all existing nodules at a time. In order to mitigate the feeling of discomfort, a small amount of local anaesthetic can be applied. During the procedure, the molluscus is removed immediately. Papillomas are removed in a similar manner.
Prevention:
Do not touch, rub, or otherwise irritate the nodules.
Do not shave the infected area.
Do not use other people’s towels, blades or other hygiene articles.
Avoid sexual intercourse until the nodules heal completely.
Observe personal hygiene rules.
